Summary/Abstract: This paper analyses zoonyms belonging to the category of Equus caballus in pastoral lexemes of Mosorovići village in upper Herzegovina in order to classify the available corpus in lexical-semantic and word-formation terms. It points to the frequency, motivation and origin of the recorded lexemes and their phonetic and formative variants.
