Summary/Abstract: In a modern discussion about Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) some clear trend can be distinguished of CSR being a part of casual business practices. The way in which CSR is understood in an organisation is strongly connected to the way how the main role of the organisation is seen in socio-economic life. As a consequence, the implementation of CSR depends on the primary beliefs and values rooted into the organisational culture. In this article, the connections between the organisational culture and the realisation of CSR are considered. The main aspects of the organisational culture are presented as well as some examples of relations between the organisational culture and socially responsible actions.
