Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this paper was to discuss the impact of intercultural differences on the comfort, quality and effectiveness of the work of Polish IT specialists who work in multinational groups and to work out a few recommendations concerning human resources management for their employers. Brief literature studies on cultural differences and stereotypes of IT specialists were presented. Respondents' opinions were gathered and analyzed. Results are presented. Discussion and implications are carried out. The main conclusion is that intercultural differences are relevant even in the environment of technically-oriented Polish IT specialists,though they are not perceived as a crucial obstacle. Therefore, they should be taken into account while working out a strategy of human resources management, the management of relations or creating motivational systems in any multinational company that uses, creates orimplements IT solutions and employs IT specialists from various countries.
