Summary/Abstract: The IT (information technology) market in Poland is still considered to be young,but its average value has been growing steadily for several years now. There are also more and more companies emerging, visible on the international markets of Poland, creating solutions which are used by many entities on many markets. Undoubtedly, at present the labour market in the IT sector has become more favourable for employees in Poland. Increasing competition on the local market, which is of interest to a growing amount of foreign companies, is becoming a challenge for domestic enterprises. This causes an increasingly visible drained market with the professionals sought. Therefore, it is crucial to implement talent management programs in Polish IT companies. This enables them to recruit and maintain key human resources for international expansion.
