Funding Circle and Other Forms Financing the SME Sector in Poland

Summary/Abstract: The goal of this article is to present few selected forms of financing the MSP sector in Poland and present business model of social loans – for example Funding Circle platform. For this purpose, the authors performed the appropriate analysis based on available literature, reports and researches. The authors of the publication concluded that Funding Circle as a form of financing is not yet sufficiently popularized in Poland, but is particularly worth studying. Thanks to this model of micro, small and medium sized companies can raise funds to maintain current liquidity, in addition Funding Circle also creates opportunities for beginners start-ups.
