Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to examine the average level and diversity of hotel room prices between selected European cities and the price variation within a given city. The data used for the study is derived from the Booking.com website. The study concerned the prices of double rooms in period between 2nd to 9th February 2019, hotel category, distance to the town center, breakfast included in price, possibility of free cancellation and the rating of the hotel by the Booking.com customers. In order to compare the average level and differentiation of prices and attributes of the hotels studied, the arithmetic mean, standard deviation and coefficient of variation were used. The correlation coefficient was used to examine the impact of individual factors on the price of hotel rooms and 28 econometric models were constructed. The category of hotel hasthe biggest impact on the price of hotel rooms in individual cities.
