The Alternative Propositions to The Balcerowicz Plan

Summary/Abstract: In this paper the authors make an attempt to introduce alternative propositions to The Balcerowicz Plan, since there were other propositions for the economic transformation from an economy based on the central planning to a capitalist market economy. Those different solutions were known while developing and introducing The Balcerowicz Plan. While the majority of the alternatives has been forgotten, it is worth to present the chosen ones today and reconsider whether their implementation would have had a positive impact on the Polish economy
