Summary/Abstract: The key factor that makes employees demonstrate commitment is the level oftrust in the organization and management. The factor becomes particularly important in the current labor market and in the conditions of increasing uncertainty and danger. Trustis currently one of the basic and most important values of the organizational culture, whichis still underestimated. Therefore, building teams based on a culture of trust turns out to bea big challenge for modern organizations. The authors dealt with the issue of the existing dependencies between trust in the team and at the same time made an attempt to verify them – whether trust supports engagement.
