The Role of Modern Investments in Logistics Infrastructure in Creating a Coherent Economic System Necessary for the Development of Pomeranian Region

Summary/Abstract: The main goal of the article is to present Pomeranian Voivodeship as the area with intensive development of logistics infrastructure, especially related to transport and storage,and a significant improvement in transport accessibility. The analysis also includes socio-economicand financial aspects related to the economic development of the region. The author presents the role of modern investments in logistics infrastructure in creating a coherent economic system necessary for the development of the region, presenting selected examples. When analyzing literature, the most important were compilation and descriptive methods, reviewing documentation at national and regional level, observation, as well as an in-depth interview.
