Barriers and Problems to Pursue the Profession of Driver in Road Transport

Summary/Abstract: This study presents the results of research on the state of compliance with the law on the working time of professional drivers in road transport in Poland. The authors assumed that the reasons for non-compliance, or attempts to „circumvent” drivers’ driving-time regulations may besome objective factors that actually occur during driver’s work, therefore in the second stage of research identified the most important problems that the representatives of this profession encounter. The survey technique was applied. The survey tool, on the other hand, was the questionnaire, distributed at the beginning of 2018, among one hundred professionally active drivers.
