Knowledge of Selected Lean Manufacturing Tools and Concepts and Employee Empowerment on the Example of a Transport Equipment Manufacturing Company

Summary/Abstract: The article presents considerations for the verification of the hypothesis assuming the existence of a strong correlation between seniority (employee empowerment)and the knowledge of selected tools related to the concept of Lean Manufacturing. A survey among the administrative employees of a large transport company has been carried out. The results of the research, using the chi-square statistical analysis tests, clearly showed the lack of such dependence.
