Analysis of the Decision Process in Uncertain Conditions and Risks in Sports Business. Case Study of a Sport and Recreation Company in Poland

Summary/Abstract: Sport and recreation in an organized manner is provided by specialized enterprisesin this field. Their activity is mainly directed at meeting the needs of the local community. The article presents the internal problems of a selected sports and recreation enterprise in Poland, operating in a small city. In particular, revenues and costs of operations were taken into account, which affected the uncertainty and risk in making decisions at all levels of its operations. The need to apply the reengineening method was indicated, which could help in solving the financial crisis of the company. The article was written on the basis of the results obtained thanks to the method of analysis of official documents of the sports and recreation company under study, the literal analysis of the subject and the case study method.
