Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to present changes in the employment structure according to large occupational groups in Poland in the period 1995–2016 and predictions of that structure in the future. In the article, the hypothesis was tested whether the structure will change towards an increase in the employment share, particularly in occupations requiring higher education. Based on the carried out analyses regarding vacancies, surplus and shortage jobs, the hypothesis should be rejected, at least within the next few years.
