Summary/Abstract: The statistics figures show that training effectiveness is a crucial factor in gaining an important role on the economic market. However, we realized that low trust is causing many training failures. There are many reasons for such a situation, i.e. a mismatch between the workforce and the company or the trainer. These factors entail deep changes treating trust as an underestimated cause of low training effectiveness. We present a behavioral scale showing how important challenge it is. Despite the deep influence of low trust, we can indicate effective training methods to overcome this problem. The problem is complex and refers to different steps-levels in the training process. From identifying and analyzing, delivering the training to evaluating it. A lack of trust is equal to strong resistance of participants, and in the worst case, it is capable of completely blocking the achievement of the training goals. The training process is usually cost prone, and therefore it is important to manage effectively the whole process, especially in situations where we can expect a lack of trust, e.g. a big process of change, fusions or mergers, downsizing, changes in the hierarchy structure etc. We should take special care when we train people so as to achieve the training goals to the highest possible degree.
