Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to describe some changes appearing in the context of management employees. The analysis covers the specifics of the implementation of the concept of work-based virtualization. Virtualization job is to support the competitiveness of the organization and lead them to success in the business. The functioning of virtual teams affects the need for a redefinition of certain management areas. It also affects changes in the area of competence of managers. The author of the article describes specific areas of change.
