Summary/Abstract: In the twenty-first century, propagation of knowledge among employees has become a factor in building the foundations of the competitive position of an enterprise. The special importance of human resources results from the fact that employees (and their competence, experience and motivation to work) determine the capacity for entrepreneurial activities. This issue also applies to medical entities and physicians as knowledge workers. The aim of the article is to show that learning is a manifestation of the entrepreneurial mindset. As part of the desk research, selected literature on entrepreneurship, its determinants and knowledge management has been reviewed. This made it possible to show that the entrepreneurial mindset (as an intangible asset of an enterprise) is conditioned by, among other things, the ability to learn (at the level of an individual and a team). In the empirical part, results of four studies on physicians’ inclination to learn are presented.
