Summary/Abstract: The article is an introduction to the subject of the communication company with the market through the marketing functions of the packaging. One of the factors in achieving competitive advantage provides an innovative approach to packaging design in terms of marketing. The premise of writing the article was to test new marketing trends in packaging, resulting from consumer demands and possibilities of packaging development. The research is the marketing functions of packaging, with particular emphasis on the role of packaging as a marketing tool, serving activation product sales.
