The Relationship Between Work and Personal Life of Entrepreneurs Operating in the Family Businesses

Summary/Abstract: The article concerns an issue of balance between work and personal life as an important challenge for the modern workforce, including activities of entrepreneurs. In the first part shown the concept of work–life balance. Particular attention was paid to the types of work–life conflicts and working time as an important factor in the analysis of these conflicts. The second part contains the results of the survey conducted among entrepreneurs operating in family and non–family businesses related to the issues of work–life balance. The aim of the article is to present the issues of work–life balance in relation to the behaviors of entrepreneurs and compare the functioning of entrepreneurs in family and non–family businesses.
