Summary/Abstract: Innovation is considered as the engine of competitiveness, economic growth and development; in business results in the generation of competitive advantages in this context, small and medium family businesses must adapt to this trend and seek to stimulate their innovative capacity, at this, the initiatives clusters are formed as facilitators of cooperation playing a critical role in the innovation. The study addresses the TIC sector SMEs family who chose to participate in cluster initiatives; the objective of the research is to identify the level of interaction between SMEs familiar with new players from its cluster integration and the impact on innovation. The study was carried out under a quantitative approach by applying surveys owners of family businesses involved in the TIC sector cluster initiative. The results show an increase in the ratio of companies with new players from joining in cluster initiatives, impacting significantly on the introduction of innovations, this allows conclude that the integrated cluster derives benefits relational character for family SMEs impact positive innovation.
