Summary/Abstract: Mehmet Fevzi was a 17th century poety from Bosnia and the city of Sarajevo. He was rarely mentioned but he belonged to the cultural tradition of Bosniaks who wrote in the languages of Islamic culture. He was educated and successful in his career of the scribe of the Sultanic Divan. After resigning from his post and giving up on successful career, he turned to the path of spiritual development. He was also a poet who composed a divan, which contains poetic images of striking and powerful imagination.
