Discourse of women’s protests in Poland in the years 2016–2017: artistic visualizations, vocations, verbalizations

Summary/Abstract: The paper concerns mass public protests of women that took place in 2016–2017 in Poland. Its attempt is to present the pieces of feminist art referring to those events. Discursive analysis is focused on the cooperation of two seemingly distant discourses — street protests and arts — in creating a representation of the collective experience of women in cultural memory. Several examples of artistic visualizations, vocalizations and verbalizations from 2017–2018 were selected for the presentation.
