Summary/Abstract: Sinaia Monastery’s School since XVIth Century until Today. The history of Sinaia Monastery’s school began with transition to life in common of the hermits from Bucegi Mountains în XVIth century and continued in the multi-ethnic monastic community of Sinaia until the XXth century. Many books and previosly unknown manuscripts used in this school survived until today, revealing the names of teachers and calligraphers Silvestru, Meletie, Ioachim, Naum Râmniceanu, Iustin, Dometie, Sava, Varlaam Barancescu, Neofit Ivanovici, Inochentie, Dorotei and many others. This school had close relations with other famous romanian schools of the Middle Ages, Neamţu Monastery and Şchei of Braşov. At the end of XIXth century in Sinaia Monastey also functioned a primary school.
