Summary/Abstract: This paper presents scientific and practical recommendations for the protection and improvement of the ichthyofauna of the main natural aquatic ecosystems of the Republic of Moldova. Measures are proposed to create optimal conditions for natural reproduction, carrying out reproductive work in captivity and restocking, modification of the terms of the annual ban on fishing, more effective surveillance of the legal provisions, etc.
