The epic text. Theoretical and applicative landmarks

Summary/Abstract: The present study tries to analyze the importance of the epic text, which comes from the need of the humans for the story. As deacralized mythology, narrative literature is reduced to narrative schemes that underlie the great symbolic deployment of myths. The epic is a fundamental form of literary creativity. We try to have a diacrhonic perspective, so we discovered that, in the succession of literary epochs, there is a movement of releasing the epic genus of compulsory equivalence with the epopee, a movement that has embraced different forms. rose is subordinated to the concept of „epic”, calling it a form of speech, oral or written, which is not subject to the rules of versification, and by extension the term denotes literary compositions that are made according to other requirements than those of the meter. Traditionally, the term „prose” is synonymous with the „epic”.
