Summary/Abstract: This review aims to reveal the memories of the author who succeded in life in spite of the difficulties of the communist epoque. The author, Ioan POPA – COMANEŞTI (as himself wrote on his book), is a teacher of Romanian language and he has published two grammar books, useful for pupils and teachers. Now, he brought into public’s attention a volume of short stories, inspired of his own biography. The main character, Luc, is very friendly, so that the reader wiil be captivated from the begining.
