Summary/Abstract: The present article carries out an analysis of the institution of conditional liberation in the case of the convicted persons serving the sentence of life imprisonment or a sentence with imprisonment of more than 10 years, with a customized analysis on the situation of the convicted persons sentenced to imprisonment for 30 years (the general maximum provided by Romanian law), the author identifying in each case the more favorable criminal law.
