Summary/Abstract: The paper primarily deals with relation between theology and literature – that is, how certain religious Truths are communicated through the genre of tekke nasheed. On theoretical level, it deals with relation Teacher – nasheed – student, that is what messages the Teacher sends to the student through tekke nasheed. Moreover, it deals with the status of this genre in certain anthological selections of Bosniak literature (M. K. Ljubušak, F. Krauss, S. Kemura – V. Ćorović, A. Nametak, R. Kadić and M. Huković), as well as comparative-textual analysis of several nasheeds. In the end, one of the possible interpretations of Shaikh Abdulvehab Ilhamija was given.
