Summary/Abstract: In the following article we intend to bring light into a more delicate subject, with a profound socio‑affective charge, taken from life stories, from the love of old times’ youth ‑ an important stage of life before marriage. The chest of dowry, which we focused into, in the search we did, was very important, necessary and natural object in the life of a family from Valea Trotusului. We chose as the first destination of our research Comanesti, a city that still keeps secrets from the chest of dowry of it’s history.
