Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the linguistic features and the structure of the manuscript № 17 kept in the Holy Trinity-St. Sergius Lavra collection of the Russian State Library. This manuscript from the beginning of the 15th century is a so-called great Horologion that is, the book of hours, supplemented with the synaxarion part of the Sabbaite Typicon. It is established that this part is based on the Russian translation of the Sabbaite Typicon from the middle of the 14th century with its linguistic and textual features. Another source is a Bulgarian translation of the Sabbaite Typicon from the beginning of the 14th century, made on Mount Athos. The same source is the basis of the great Horologion kept in the Russian State Archive of Ancient Acts fond 381 № 45. This Horologion group is an open text structure that combines parts from different Slavic translations of the Sabbaite Typicon.
