Summary/Abstract: On April 25, 1965, representatives of the Institute of Archaeologie from Bucharest, and from the Historical Monuments Direction made a documentation visit along the route Bucharest – Negoieşti– Căscioarele – Hereşti – Bucharest, with an eye to the future archaeological excavations on the site of the now disappeared Cătălui Monastery, at the feet of the hills east of Căscioarele. Here, we reproduce – after the notes taken by prof. Gheorghe Cantacuzino – the reports made on that occasion, as well as a few photos.
