Summary/Abstract: Constantin Rădulesco-Motru, born February 2, 15, 1868 in Butoieşti (Mehedinţi district) and died March 6, 1957 in Bucureşti, was a well-known university professor, philosopher, psychologist, politician, Man of letter. Doctor es Droit in Leipzig, in 1893, after the First World War in 1918, he was appointed director of the National Theater in Bucharest. In 1923 he was received in the Romanian Academy, becoming president during the years 1938-1941.After the Second World War he was marginalized despite the fact that he had center-left ideas. He dies poor.A series of letters were sent to the French professor Pompile Eliade (1907), the man of culture Nicolas Eremie (1930) and the journalist Timoleon Pisani (1933, 1941 and 1942).
