INTERDEPENDENCE BETWEEN POLITICS AND NATIONAL SECURITY

Summary/Abstract: This article shows the relation between national security and the domestic policy of the state in the current geopolitical and geostrategic context. We consider that Romania needs a new strategy for the national security to eliminate the discrepancy between the states in the community area regarding the quality standards of life, to counter the threats to the citizens, nation and state, to effectively manage the crisis situations and to actively take part in the process of integration and cooperation.
