Prerequisites for Digital Civic Competence in Teaching Bulgarian

Summary/Abstract: This article explores the concept of ‘digital civic competence’ as an integral part of students’ civic competence. Emphasis is laid on the digital medium of communication and on the knowledge and skills that students develop to enhance their civic competence. Education in Bulgarian language constitutes a factor in the formation of digital civic competence since it requires employing interdisciplinary relations in the course of the learning process.
