Summary/Abstract: This study approaches, in a very general theoretical manner, certain aspects of the concept of emotional intelligence correlated to the act of leadership. It highlights the importance of the emotional dimension of the act of leadership, considered to be decisive in distinguishing remarkable performers from normal ones.
