Dependency analysis of ms excel level knowledge among students of economic studies using questionnaire survey

Summary/Abstract: Employers more and more often want to have employees with good knowledge of MS Excel. In addition, more and more of these workers are graduates of postgraduate studies. Therefore it is important that they know the most important tools and features on a spreadsheet during their studies. The aim of the article is an analysis of the level of knowledge of MS Excel by students at the University of Economics in Wroclaw. The presentation of the results is an attempt to consider which elements of the spreadsheet are known, and which need more attention. Moreover test results help to determine the significance of dependence and its strength between such factors as gender, age, direction and mode of study and time spent at work and the degree of knowledge of MS Excel.
