Summary/Abstract: This study aims to analyze effects of applications of multiple intelligences on architectural works of the Republican era as a subject of Art History. To do so, it employs a mixed research design. The quantitative dimension of the research was run with a pretest-posttest experiment model. On the qualitative dimension, it attempted to measure inclinations and perception levels of students in the experiment group. The research group includes 36 students randomly selected among those who were taking an illustration class at a vocational college with an experiment and a control group of 18 participants each. As a measurement tool in the study, a test of success was developed for architectural works of the Republican era, a topic of Art History. This test was implemented to obtain measurements of success and retention. The study finds that with the experimental method, the students in the experiment group obtained a higher score and were positively affected in learning subjects of art history. As for its effect on retention, no significant difference occurred between the experiment and control groups. According to qualitative findings of the research, a healthy perception in learning the topic as well as an increase in knowledge were achieved, and it was observed that applications of multiple intelligences ensure effective learning
