Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to examine the educational books on violin (methods-compilations), published in Turkey after the year 2000 and in the field of classical music. The method used in the study is descriptive. The population of the study is composed of violin teaching books which were published in Turkey between the years 2000 and 2019 in the field of classical music and which the researcher has been able to track. Following the research, the books which could be tracked were listed, organized based on their contents and levels and subjected to numerical analysis according to their levels. It has been determined that the 43 books that were tracked are categorized according to their levels as follows: 25 beginner books, 8 beginner-intermediate level books, 1 intermediate level book, 2 intermediate-advanced level books, 3 advanced level books and 4 beginner-advanced level books. It has been concluded that the author/compiler who has published the greatest number of books (6) and made the greatest number of publications (13.95% of the total number) is Ömer Can, and that the greatest number of publications (10 books, corresponding to the 23.36% of the total number) is made by Evrensel Müzikevi, and that the greatest number of publications (14 books, corresponding to the 32.56% of the total number) was made between the years 2011 and 2015.
