Summary/Abstract: Ardahan province, which is a serhad in northeastern Turkey, the Caucasus is a door opening to the Black Sea. Due to this geopolitical position, Ardahan, which has been under the rule of different civilizations throughout history, has a Turkish existence of approximately 4,000 years. This historical truth is considered to be contrary to historical facts for Armenian and Georgian historians. The fact that Ardahan had been under Turkish rule for centuries is ignored by historians and it is claimed that they should belong to them. Particularly after the OttomanRussian War of 1877-1878, a large Armenian population was placed in the city and the region was tried to be Armenianized, which had negative consequences for the Turkish-Islamic people. The fact that the Russians started to withdraw from Ardahan after the 1917 revolution caused Armenians and Georgians to form their own armed forces and offered new opportunities to realize their historical ambitions. Ardahan, a place that Georgians and Armenians could not share, became the area of influence conflict and the Turkish-Islamic population suffered the most from this. During the National Struggle Period, Turkish forces entered Ardahan on 23 February 1921, starting further operations. 1921 According to the Moscow and Kars treaties signed in March and October, Ardahan today still is a part of Turkey. In this study, the studies carried out in Georgia and Armenia on the subject were examined and the importance of Ardahan in the Turkish, Armenian and Georgian struggles was tried to be revealed.
