Barriers to technological innovations in the assessment of industrial enterprises in the Kujawsko-pomorskie voivodship

Summary/Abstract: This article presents innovative industrial companies analyzed in terms of the major obstacles to the implementation of innovation by enterprises. The study included the evaluation expressed by the managers of innovatively active and inactive companies. The CSO survey data on innovative activities of enterprises in Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodship were the basis of the analysis. Obstacles and financial costs, as the barriers of high importance for innovation activities, were most often mentioned by industrial enterprises. The analysis included also market barriers related to knowledge, and other factors. An assessment of their innovation weight by the companies was more diverse. Article complements the analysis of the literature in terms of defining the barriers of innovation and their identification in the companies.
