Changes in migration behaviour in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodship

Summary/Abstract: Migrations reflect spatial adaptation of the population to changing socio-economic conditions. The aim of the research is to compare migration behaviour in 2002 and 2014 in the gminas of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodship and to distinguish the migration types with the typograph method proposed by Długosz (1992). The research showed that the majority of gminas in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodship, especially those located on the outskirts of the region, were of emigration nature. The gminas of immigration nature were located in the central part of the voivodship, however in this region the direction of migration from the capitals of the voivodship was maintained.
