Parity and family in neoliberal reality

Summary/Abstract: Contemporary family is different than family several dozen years ago. This is kind of evolution from the patriarchate to the partnership. We can observe the transformation of the patterns of family life. The author of this article pays attention to many difficulties of mother’s role in contemporary, neoliberal reality. In place of the traditional, patriarchal family – with well-appointed roles of mother and father, with a few children – we can observe family based on partnership. Contemporary woman – mother wants to connect bringing up of child with professionally activity. The bringing together these activities is a serious problem for contemporary families.
