Summary/Abstract: Proxemics is the scientific branch which deals with the analysis of physical dimensions of space in the context of interpersonal interactions. Analysis of each – space, distance, territory, congestion, privacy – carries numerous information about the participants of these interactions. Such a message is transferred by every human arranging the existing environment according to his/her own preferences and taking in it a specific place. An interesting place to analyse above mentioned information is Religion Instructions classroom. Students who use it may express themselves to a small extent freely modelling its space. It happens more often through choosing „own” place in it. Places with the least congestion will be chosen by loners and introverts. Similarly, couples of friends and lovers who care about intimacy will do. In turn peer groups and extroverts will choose spaces that will allow for numerous social interactions.
