Summary/Abstract: This paper attempts to point out that currently international human rights is a priority issue for the safety of citizens. The current security environment has led to the redefinition of principles and rules of international humanitarian law for the successful development of multinational peacekeeping operations. The evolution of international humanitarian law should be considered in terms of its historical development.
