Management of financial security of the city of Wrocław

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the possibility of the safe execution of budget tasks of the city of Wrocław. An attempt was made to evaluate the stability of the financial policy conducted by the self-government authorities as well as the level of the financial security of the city of Wrocław. The aim of the article was to analyse the debt situation and to evaluate the way of managing the financial security of the city, with an emphasis on the size of the deficit and the debt level of the Wrocław metropolis. What should be particularly taken into account is the danger of the possible underestimation of the official debt of the city, which may result in threatening the financial security of Poland.
