Possibilities for creating new employment in Montenegro

Summary/Abstract: Employment is, as a rule, the indicator of the economic, cultural and social prosperity of a certain community, the source of livelihood for the majority of the population and a stabilising force for the socio-economic status of individuals and the community. Unemployment is often associated with social exclusion, marginalisation and the nonutilisation of human resources, particularly in terms of knowledge, labour and time. Employment status is highly correlated with poverty. A recent study has indicated that the issue of employment is the single most important issue on the minds of the poor. This included the lack of jobs, the lack of adequate work-based remuneration and uncertainty over the duration of employment.
