Innovation of industrial and service enterprises in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodship

Summary/Abstract: This paper discusses the literature to define innovation and to identify them in analyzed sectors of economy. An analysis concerning the innovation scale of industrial and service enterprises in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodship was presented as well. The CSO survey results regarding product, process, marketing and organizational innovations introduced in 2008–2010 were the basis for the study. The authors analyzed companies from the Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodship by their size. The paper also includes results of the study on the correlation between the types of innovations implemented by industry and service enterprises.
