The Gospel – An Inspiration for the Sciences of Pedagogy

Summary/Abstract: REASEARCH OBJECTIVE: On the example of evangelical pericope, the research aim is to present the fact that the Bible beyond a religious message can provide many inspirations for pedagogical reflections. THE RESEARCH PROBLEM AND METHODS: In this article we intend to explain the scale and range of the Bible possibilities inspiring the thinking of representatives of the sciences of pedagogy The research is of a qualitative nature. In analysis the technique of category analysis has been applied. THE PROCESS OF ARGUMENTATION: Commonly, one takes for granted that the Bible passes the religious contents. At the same time, we are aware of the fact that not only the faithful persons draw for them abut also unfaithful ones who seek the explanations for the historical, archeological etc. matters in it. Convinced of so rich offer that the Bible texts include we started searching the inspiration which the Bible can provide the representatives of the sciences of pedagogy with. RESEARCH RESULTS: Aware of the fact that the Bible is not only the typical pedagogical handbook, thus, that it can not give the unambiguous answers to the questions posed by this discipline, we came to conclusion that beyond the message of religious contents we could find a lot of inspirations in it for pedagogical thinking and acting. We can see the significant impulse in the Bible that sensitizes people to non-material reality, transcendence, and openness to other forms of cognition than intellectual one. CONCLUSIONS, INNOVATIONS, AND RECCOMENDATIONS: Openness and the lack of prejudices of ideological nature make us claim that the Bible, apart from own main goal which is to show the relation between God and people, provides the last ones with many human inspirations for reflection upon building the relation between the form – teacher and pupil.
