Dynamics of electricity production using renewable energy sources

Summary/Abstract: The main objective of the paper is to estimate the dynamics of basic categories concerning the exploitation of renewable energy sources for electric energy production in Poland. For the realization of this objective time series were used, in which capacities of electric plants based on renewable energy sources were described both globally and in fractions composing from water energy, energy obtained from solid bio-fuel, energy obtained from bio-gas and solar energy. The research was carried on with the usage of exponential trends. A separate problem is to determine changes of partition of energy obtained from renewable energy sources in relation to the total utilization of electric energy. The investigation shows that in this case the exponential trend fits quite well. The comparison were also made between the average rate of increase of particular renewable energy sources carriers in creation of electric energy in Poland.
