Summary/Abstract: Emotional intelligence has been intensively researched in recent years, which shows the relevance and importance of this topic for science and practice. The concept of emotional intelligence has existed since the mid-1990s, but over the past decade, scientists and researchers have proven it is key to achieving individual, team, and organizational goals. Emotional intelligence of real estate agents has strong influence on their behavior and the quality of their work tasks, the competitiveness of the agency they work for, and its successful functioning in the current dynamic and rapidly evolving business environment. Owning and developing the range of skills that characterize emotional intelligence is one of the important prerequisites for the success of real estate brokers and ensuring the desired results in their line of work.
