Summary/Abstract: The Icon of the Nativity of Christ, as well as other feast icons, comprises all other royal feasts in it, and presents all the great events of our Lord Jesus Christ’s life. The Nativity icon thus appears in all its messianic and eschatological significance, in which the Son of God’s mission on earth is already fulfilled, and the great mystery of God that becomes Man is portrayed with all its consequences. The pastoral letter presents the icon of the Nativity, with all the characters and realities depicted and their symbolism.
